The new lady from with the COE is screwing the lake up,they are steady dumping water and we are looseing spawn on crappie and shad at a tremendous rate we could stand to loose a crappie spawn but not the shad its food for everything that swims.
We'd like to take family to Mark Twain tomorrow for an attempt at catching some Crappie! Any reports lately?

news to me also. Denny Foss was an excellent manager, 30 years or so, haven't met the new lady? will make it a point to check it out. Bruce
Sandra Spence is the new acting manager until a permanent replacement is named. Intel says nothing happening on a spder rigging regulation. really wet spring has caused lots of water in the salt river distribution system. Still about 4 feet above normal pool
Bruce I have sent her several emails about this problem and she pushed it off on Allen Mehrer,The MDC biologest told them unoffically they were screwing up the shad and crappie spawn[unoffically means he would not put it in writing.] I can see if the lake was at 625.00 but it did not make it much over 616.00.Plane and simple this gal is a ladder climber.

I was wondering why they weren't holding the water level steady during the spawn, the way they had done in some of the recent years. I think the local businesses will be some of the most potent voices to get rid of an ecological system wrecker like she sounds like. The lack of prosperous businesses around that lake is very interesting, considering its the biggest lake in NEMO and is the closest "big" lake to St. Louis.
