    Default Delaware Slabs 5-10-08


    I found a steady bite this morning at Delaware Resevoir. I was catching fish near and in a tree in 8-10' fow with tube jibs and twister tails. I was mostly throwing 1/32 oz black/charteruese tubes. They were kind of finicky and wanted it super slow. I ended up with about 18 keepers and brought 8 of em home.

    I'm gonna make it back up there again in the next few weeks. I prefished for the tourney and found some awesome spots. During the tourney, trolling motor died.

    Nightprowler,

    You fishin the BCC event up there in June. My buddy slayed em in the brush Monday and Tuesday. My uncle got em yesterday and he is out there again today. I think he said he and my cousin got 29 over 9.5" yesterday. That lake is on fire now. They'll be in there post spawn pattern in June. Good luck to ya if you're in that tourney.
