    Default Stockton getting better


    I have been doing terrible at Stockton the last few trips. Just nothing at my usual spots. I decided to try for walleye last Sunday. I went to a new spot I hadn't tried before and caught 6 crappie over 12 inches in about 30 minutes - then nothing. I caught them on jig heads with large minnows I had got for the walleye.

    talked to some locals down there and they told me they were doing just what happened to you they were catching crappie while trying for Wally's,,and welcome to the c.com family

    Hey Bill, glad you came on board. Guys, 4wood lives in Aurora and he and his wife fish Stockton a lot and are usually pretty good at it. 4wood we need more details, water depth and on what stucture, males or females, started to spawn yet. Really glad that you're on board Bill. Later, Ship

    Welcome 4woods. I fish Stockton alot and it has been dead for me. I have not fished it in several weeks, but am ready to get going. It should not be much longer and it should get good.
