Had two back operations, know where you are coming from.

I have arthritis in my lower back and with my present seat, talking about my front TM seat, my back starts to act up in just a couple of hours. Now I don't need the one with the springs in the bottom as when its rough out I stay home, talking about the front seat here. Was looking at this seat http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/te...334&hasJS=true and was wondering if anyone had this and how well it supports your back.

The ones in my Lund work great. They have cut on mine 2 times and i have the stuff in it now you have. Before an hour and I was done. I can sit in these for hours.
Good seats are high. But I wish I had bought one a few years ago. I was to the point that if I made it 2 hours It was a long day. Now 6 hours and I am still happy
They have lumbar support.
And the one below looks close to them

A buddy's got some of those BIG MAN seats from, I believe, Bass Pro. They're pretty comfortable. I don't remember for sure if they have lumbar support.
It's too bad the manufacturer's don't offer some type of "lumbar" adjustable support. I know alot of desk chairs now offer lumbar support, but I have yet to see it offered in fishing chairs...wake up out there in fishin chair land!

Back years ago, fishing in the lower lake at Sardis, there was an older man
with a jon boat, he had what looked like a bucket seat out of a sportscar
mounted in it - he would fish till he got tired, then recline that thing back
and take a nap At lot of folks looked at it kinda funny, but it got me
to thinking! I bet one of those office chairs could even be put onto a
pedestal if a fellow tried.

I think you will like that one also.
But like Jeff posted. Some do pick up a nice seat out of a car. and use them. Theres a guy here at Pickwick that has one even has the power hooked up to it. And has the heated seat working on it.
