Default Will this work for crappie condos?

This guy has a quanity of fiberglass and resin strips 1/2" to about 3" wide and about 10' long. I went by and looked at them, they are about 5/8 inch thick and have some bend in them...especially the long ones. Would this work for the tops on the condos? Plus they are free

    Here is the picture?

Idk poppop. I for one would like to think they would (thats the thrifty cheap side of me talking lol). Then again fiberglass has a strong odor, probably hard chemicals, and probably require gloves to work with. Just some thoughts. Can't hurt to experiment with em though!

I wonder since they have been cut...if they would break down and maybe release something harmful into the water?

Do you know what they were originally made for?

They were cut from fiberglass boards sent to Iraq for some purpose. Not sure what the guy told me there were for now.

Should work fine, don't worry about the odor, it will go away quickly.
    Good fishing.
