    Default Suggestions on LOZ Friday?

My wife and I are pretty new to crappie fishing and LOZ but bought a boat and so far 2 trips to the lake without catching a single fish. Makes me feel a little better to see that it just has not been very good this year yet.

Plan to make a trip down on Friday. We are coming from the Jefferson City area. Any suggestions where would be a good place to try and to put in? Our first trip was PB-2 fishing that area then the next time at Coffman Beach access.

    Thanks in advance.

Gravois arm would be worth a shot, IMO.

If you are wanting to catch a boatload of fish and not have to boat far for them, I would suggest fishing the slack water channel below Truman Dam. Blk/Char, Red/Char, Pink/Char, and Blue/Pearl Slab Busters all produced fish Sunday. 10 to 12 feet deep in
15 to 25 feet of water. Good luck.

    cpeters,

Welcome to the board - great place.

The upper Niangua arm has been awesome Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, but we have heavy rain as I type this, so I am worried about muddy water again - sure hope not.

Also have a buddy that got into them real good yesterday in Indian Creek off the Gravios Arm.

    Good luck!
