    Default couple more today, pics

managed to get out for a couple hours today after work,, hit a couple spots on a local lake that i have not tried yet this year. managed to pull a couple specks, one gill and one sunfish from a fallen tree branch in 8 inches of water.
water temp is still quite chilly in most areas of the lake, low to mid 40s but is rising quickly in the canals and on the north and west shores. middle of canal was 45 degrees surface temp above 8 feet of water, 50 feet away where i caught the fish in 8 inches of water was 50 degrees. i was using a 1/64oz chartreuse jig with a small black mister twister exude grub

It is not about the equipment you have to use,
It is about how you use the equipment you have. :D

Thanks for the great photos. They make excellent refrence. Crappies, especially the black ones, are very difficult to paint so they don't look painted.
Some of life's most precious memories take place in the presence of a fish.
