Guys, I hate you missed a great weekend of fishing and fun. We caught a bunch of fish, and some darn nice ones if I have to say so.

Speckhunter almost broke the 3 pound barrier with a 2 pound 15 ounce stud, and ended up catching 12 fish over 2 this weekend:rolleyes: (more than me). He said he would be home in a day or two with pics. Said he didn't really ever want to leave this place...:D I told him to just keep his tent up, and stay for another week or so.... Those big egg laden females will make you never even want to leave the water... It was hard to come off and go to the fish fry tonight.

Anyway, he wanted me to report in to you guys and let you know what he had done, and said he wished some of you had come on down with him...

Man, that was the biggest crappie I ever saw. I stayed an extra day to try and beat Spec's fish. I wanted one over 3lbs but just couldn't do it.
