    Post Simple Ant

While I don't use anything smaller than a size 12 fly usually due to the fact that I have had fish take them very deep so I doubt I will use an ant pattern, here is a simple floating ant from Rick Zieger on FAOL. I think he cuts the non-slip mat (sometimes used in the bottom of drawers) on a diagonal and uses two connected foam peas at the same time. Link below.

I have been following this thread that is a follow-up to this foam shelving non-slip material. Ants, Adult Dragonflies, and Adult Damselflies to name a few. Terrestrial possibilities.

Rick is very inovative and DOWNRIGHT CHEAP!!!! LOL He ties some excellent patterns with anything he can get his hands on.

Dixie nice dragon fly, another thing you could use on the wings is a used dryer sheet with the wings cut out of it. Little more aero dynamic, helps cut down on the fly spinning the leader.
