    Default Back from Truman

What a crazy last few days on Truman. Went down Thursday to camp and it was to windy to fish. Finally got out Friday afternoon to prefish. Pulled half way back in a creek arm and started along the channel. Caught some big fish so fast and all on the same pattern that we left it for Sat. morning. Biggest 1 3/4lbs. 2.5 degree water temp change from Friday to Sat. and needless to say no fish on the channel swing pattern. We took 5th and the last check with one fish. 4 lbs. 15 ozs. on five fish took home the big check. Along with a 2.0 lb. kicker fish. The young man who caught it was going to have it mounted with his prize money that he won. Windy, cold, rain, snow, sleet and yet it will be a weekend I will always remember. From the looks of the egg sacks. I would not miss out on being at Truman from midweek through the next two weeks. It is fixing to happen.

We fished the Grand arm. Water temp was up and down all week. Low was 50.6 up to 52.9 in the creeks. Rough weekend but a lot of fun anyway. Still trying to thaw out.

I'm headed down tomorrow afternoon. If we can get that main lake temp back up to 56-57 it's gonna start up.
