Memphis is a better team and would win 7 out of 10 games if they played a series. It is unfortunate that the best team did not win. Memphis had that game wrapped up, they just gave it away in the end. Kansas didn't win that game, Memphis gave it to them.

You sound bitter. Now I'm a MU fan and hate KU just as much as anyone but Mem winning 7 out of 10 would NOT happen. If you ask me Mem is lucky that it was that close.

The way I see it is if you can not hit your freethrows you do not deserve to win the game. Plain and simple KU hit there shots and Memphis did not

I don't know about 7 out 0f 10, maybe 50/50. Kansas is/was a great defensive team, and it's about time they lived up to their potential, if not overachieved. After the last 5 years or so I am ecstatic to see them finally win the big one.

Geez...that is just crazy....7 out of 10? Come on...It was close the whole game until the 5 min mark and then they made a run to make it 9 with 2:15 to go...Its not like it was a blowout at any point of the game...And yes Memphis did their part to let us back in it by not making free throws but the difference is that we took advantage of those mistakes and came up with huge shots with one being top 5 of all time in NCAA Tourney history.... I only say top 5 bc I am sure there are some great ones out there, but with as much on the line the only other one that I think compares is the Laettner and also NC State tip in....We won the game and the overtime was not even close.

Did you notice the inside game? Or lack of by Memphis. Seems as tho the KU guards but the clamps on Rose pretty good, especially in the first half. KU has so many ways to score...they are a well balanced team. I would agree with the 50/50 take on the wins/losses. The sore heel in this particular game was missed free throws at the end and lack of response to stop KU making the 3 pointer at the top of the key. When you get down to the final 4 in this situation your looking at the creme. Any 1 of those 4 teams could win against each other on any given night. To be honest, I really thought KU was gonna have a hard time getting past NC. But man did they ever show up for that one... their defense and team speed really upset the Tar Heels game plan.

The players and coaches responded well to the bell...gotta give them credit!!

Agree, Memphis had this game wrapped up but they didn't finish. Kansas on the other hand was opportunistic and battled back...Memphis didn't give it to them...Kansas took it. KU could of gave up when they were down but fought back and MADE things happen!
