Not sure if this is right forum, but up-in & downing of my 18# river style anchors has taken a toll on my bad back. Anyone know of a good electric anchor I could get. Tried one of those chene? style anchor but seems U gotta drag it 40 feet before it catches-crap.. When fishing brush piles if pile is in the very center of a clock then I stay 20 feet parallel to it and drop anchor at the 12.00 & motor to six o'clock position drop 2nd anchor then pull my boat back towards 12.00 so I end up with brush 20 feet along side me. 18 to 24 feet deep.

Shilohred thanks for repl, have u even seen on of these work. Probably good in open water but many places I fish have timber * brushpiles on bottom hate to be dragging anchor thru that stuff. You gotta post pict of that new boat sounds like a winner. I just run a 40hp tiller on semi-V for a pretty smooth ride. I'm very happy with the tiller.
