Last weeks rain has it 4+ feet over Full Pool all of the fishing jettiys are under water. A lot of floating debris to dammage your boat as well as foul your trolling jigs So keep a watchfull eye!
I was able to get out from 3pm till dark with a couple of guys trolling the upper regons and we got 15 good sized fish.
With more rain on the way, the lake may soon be just a cast from my back door! (I wish!)
Any of you folks care to share your Allatoona report?
Fished Toona last Wednesday and it sounds like the conditions haven't changed much. It was a mud hole with pine straw floating everywhere. Hard to get a hit on a jig with pine straw on it. Caught about 20 total with 10 good keepers, but I had to constantly clean pine straw off my jigs to get a hit. The rain today and tomorrow won't help much. I fished the fields landing area. Maybe it will clear up soon.
Good fishing to all and God bless,
Fishhead
