    Default Mounting transducer on trolling motor?


    How does everyone mount the transducer onto the trolling motor?? Are there mounting kits you can buy?? If so where??

    Are you talking about a skimmer transducer or puck type? Just a big hose clamp is all you need:





    For a skimmer type, all you have to do is bend the mounting ears to match the curve of the TM and put a hose clamp through the slots where the screws go.

    Just finished up one today...I got the mounting kit from Gander Mountain....I did a pretty darn good job of putting a 565 on the front of my boat. And I am very much mechanically challenged.
