was curious if any one knew of any stands for fish fidners for a bass boat so that my fish finder in front doesnt have to be moounted right on the deck.... i have a ranger bass boat and was looking for soemthing that would raise up my fish finder so i can see better and have better access and that would perhaps fold sown whole in transit

i just find the short ones on there for by the console, im looking for something for front of boat the will rise it up 2-3 foot
RAM does make a mount for about 45 dollars, however, I make one out of 3/8 galvanized pipe that raised my fish finder about 10 inches above the deck with an angle forward. I also have a ranger bass boat. Started off with floor flange, then street elbow, 8 inch pipe, another street elbow, and ended with another floor flange. Also had to to cut a retangle out of some cutting board to mount fish finder to floor flange. Total cost about $14.
i just hate having to reach over to change settings or stuff and wanting something little higher maybe close to seat level
i maek stainless steel bases, but you can buy them for about 8$ at bps. then use some alum rod for your stand. kinda lkike my spider rigs

RAM mounts second to none. I have the 4" extension on a RAM base with the RAM universal fishfinder mount. You can adjust into ANY position

I just saw your 2-3 foot comment and I would think you gonna have to make something like that yourself. 1/2 gal into a galv threaded base will work.
