Looks like a good out of town trip. You know soon as you go some where to fish adverse conditions are going to happen. Murphy Law with me
As some of you may know, I visited Jerry and Darryl in Arkansas the last two days. I just got back in about an hour ago. What a great trip. We caught 41 fish the first day and about 10 the second day. The second day was super windy and we didn't stay out that long as a result. Overall, the fishing was actually a little tough. The water lever had just risen a couple feet, the water was muddy, and the fish weren't anywhere where they were supposed to be. Darryl did a great job changing things up and putting us on the fish though. Darryl, you certainly are one hell of a fisherman. Here are some pics of our trip, I hope to write an article for the articles page, and I'll include both last years trip, and this years trip in the report. But first I have to put up all the old articles.
Anyway, here are the pics:
See how muddy the water was. Thats Jerry in his boat and some clients he had.
A great catch, some real nice crappie, 6 bass (white and black) and one brim. The brim actually hid on the live well, and we let him go in the morning. That brim has a hell of a story to tell of his survival. All those other fish did not make it, but he did! lol
Thank you Darryl for being so hospitable, and so funny! It was great seeing both of you, Jerry and Darryl.
For those who don't know me, I'm the tall one in the center pic. That's my buddy Tom pictured in the lower pic, holding the two crappie.
I love crappie fishing, you never know what you're going to get!

Thats a guide that can put you on fish in that muck.
Good things come to those who bait.
Cool and muddy water........not bad for those conditions!
Good fishin fellas.....cold,muddy and rising water seperates the true fishermen from the wanna-be's.

Gotta hand it to ya. Looks cold and muddy. No easy fishing day for sure. Love the pictures. Your friend, Tom, always looks like he is just about to bust out laughing. Was it something Darryl said? LOL
"Be Ye Fishers of Men" You catch them- He will clean them
Cold weather gear and lots of fresh muddy water makes for some an event to remember. You guys did a lot better than we did down here with the same conditions. Good photos and some good fish. Thanks for posting.
Looks like ya had a good trip. Cold muddy water doesn't matter, just catch fish

Hey Ed:
Good to see y'all made it back home safe and sound. It was good to see you and Tom again. Y'all need to come back down and get in on the Fall Feeding Frenzy in October or November. Maybe I won't be so busy then.
Good looking catch for tough conditions.
Take your kids hunting and fishing, and you won't be hunting your kids
