Don't think so - hope I don't have to find out
Really liked that show though. That and ice road truckers too.

It was nearly that bad at Talquin when Smitty and I fished the crappie masters in January. Seemed like it anyway. LOL
I do not want to be on any boat in that mess!
Take your kids hunting and fishing, and you won't be hunting your kids
You know... Those seas are Horrible... I spent almost 4 years up there doing CG Boardings on those boats... I thank God that the largest waves I see now are from a houseboat or cruiser....

Truman Lake Missouri One time Pomme de Terre area whoo. Wasn't that bad but felt like it at the time.
Well lets just say that i have a 16ft bass boat and two years ago i was fishing on Draper Lake in OKC. It was a nice afternoon doing some trolling and it turned to pure desperation with in a few minutes. this front came thru with over 50 mile an hour winds and my little boat looked like several of the ones on the video trying to get back to the ramp. there was a point when I was in what was normally 6 to 7 foot of water running close to the bank and I was hitting the bottom of the lake and messed up a stainless steel prop. The bilge pump almost couldn't keep up with the water coming in was afraid to pull up on the bank and beach it cause the waves would have dry docked the boat for sure and tore the bottom out of it. I did make it to the ramp which was in a cove out of the wind for the most part. I was riding every two waves and taking on the third one. That was the worst boat ride I had ever been on and the most scared on the water I've ever been.
MT.DEW AND JP8 IN THE MORNING GETS THE BLOOD FLOWING.
was anchored along the channel when a 32 ft with 2-200's came down the lake staight for us and circled around us and then kicked it wide open in front of us. My boat went up, down, up and when it came back down a wall of water came over the front of the boat and knocked the guy with me out of his seat. I ended up with over a foot of water in the boat. Not too much you can do when you are anchored.
DO-GOODER EXTRADINAR :p
In the early 60s we caught the tail end of a hurricane and was taking 30° rolls. Normally in the Navy that isn't really a big deal except for this time. I was on the USS Shangra La. For those of you that don't remember, it was an aircraft carrier. What a trip!
