    Default One tough grub

Who makes the toughest plastic (1 1/2" or 2") grubs ?
I am so fed up with replaceing my jigs after every few fish because tails get riped off or the bodies split at the mold seam

Soft plastics will tear, that's just part of it. I rarely use them anymore.
Try some hand tied jigs, they'll last for 100 fish, if not many many more. Shoot me a PM if you're interested in trying some out, I can mimic your favorite tube colors and even make some new ones for you.

tube manufactures do it on purpose so they can sell more. There are different formulas for plastics from soft to hard. they can make them with harder plastic but you will loose some of the action but not much. find you someone that makes them by hand and ask them to use the tube formula. Most bass tubes are made from it and its harder so that it holds the hook better.
