    Default beginner ?

I just started tying yesterday. I bought the min. I thought I needed to see if I'd like it first. Well of course I do. But I bought bloodquill marabou feathers. How much of the feather do you use. I seen some videos on utube and it looks like there is a lot of waste. I've been only using the end of the feather. Is this right? Here are some pics of a couple.

Jimmy, Those jigs look fine jig002 looked to be a little heavy w/ marabou and jig015 looked pretty darn good to me. You will figure it out by tying and asking lots of questions on here. Shipahoy and Skiptomylou are almost always willing to give advise and tricks to newcomers when it comes to jigtying and crappie fishing. Good luck and keep tying.

Here is your picture. When you use photo bucket, you can copy the image code of your picture and then paste it directly into the forum. You should set your camera so that your pictures are reduced in size about 50%
