I'm back for now

All the ice down here has had the power out since Monday. Finally came back on last night. Being the only one along my stretch of road with a generator, I was right popular with the neighbors.:p I don't mind though, most of them are elderly and I like to help them out. My internet service is still out so I can only get online when I get to work. Its amazing how addicted you get to this site. I'm going to have a hell of a stack of firewood by the time I'm finished cutting up the downed trees and limbs. My yard is a train wreck right now.

Speck, it sounds like you've got your survivalist gear up and running. Good for you. Forethought is a wonderful thing. It's awful nice of you to help your neighbors. I'll not go through another winter without a generator. I'm getting pretty excited about going down to Grenada, if I can ever get retired up here. I'd really like to hook up with you in Mississippi. I am champing at the bit. . .
