yea i need to get hook up with some of u guys because all my fishing buddys wont go in the cold weather so i have to fish in my pond or in little conservatin lakes that my boat or tub will handle. thay dont like wind or big boats. but i dont let it stop me i still catch crappie all year but im not good with big water. ive been over to stocton but never do any good because i dont get enough time to find them but i will one of these days but dont go vary often only when its warm and me and my uncle take his boat but thats like pulling eye teeth getting him on a lake hes more of a catfish man on the river. i can take my father in laws but i don't like to . but still the problem that nobody likes to go win its cold. i guess they are just fear wather fisherman

I pond fish some but the more i fish big lakes the less i want to fish ponds,it just feels like the same ole hum drum thing every time you fish em,they're good on short notice but not a planned trip.

    Welcome Shortboat,

I live at LOZ due east of ya on Hwy 54. Used to fish ponds in North MO as a kid, but just mainly the big water of LOZ now. Still lots to learn, but this is the place for information.
