I never weighed my biggest one, but it did take three flushes to get it down.
I caught my biggest last night. Thirtyfive pounds. Had one even bigger on but I woke up and had to get ready to go to work. LOL

One even pulls a gun on me. I then grab a bucket of minnows and throw then out like Santa during a Christmas parade. But every minnow has a hook and line attrached to it...I, my friends , am ready to get it ooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnn!!!

This is my first year crappie fishing and I have caught a 2lb 2 oz, 14.5". Like everyone else, I hope to catch bigger fish as they turn on.
LET IT RIP!
Wow, that wasn't a nightmare, but a dream?
Mine is probably a bit over 2 lb but my wife caught a 2.5 pounder a couple of years ago. It was her first crappie!!! We should've mounted it but we'd just started fishing and thought that was the norm. She also has a 7+ lb bass on the wall. She thinks fishing is a snap and has no idea as to how many people spend years trying to catch fish that size. I try to tell her she just has an excellent guide . I have to admit that she gives 110% when she fishes, she constantly has a hook in the water from the time we hit the lake until we leave and she is constantly working the water. I am a lot more laid back but more analytical about what is going on. If she ever decides to really learn about fishing - I won't stand a chance.
My biggest came from Lake Talquin in 2001 2lb 11oz. followed by a 3lb 4oz later the same day Artistic Taxidermy made a great 2 fish mount on a piece of driftwood
