Wanted to hit Twain for the first time this year tomorrow, but its gonna be a high of 45 and possible rain. Makes the drive from STL a hard decision. This cold weather might have dampened their spirits as well.
Fished a small lake last night from 5:30 till 6:30 or dark. Caught a dozen crappie the smallest 10 inches and the largest 14 inches. windy conditions but when the wind slacked a bit the fish hit hard. Used jig and nibbles. Enough to make me want to try it again Saturday night for a few minutes! Good luck from central MO!

Probably a private one, so I doubt a report like that does any good for us. I could do the report out of mine, but I dont think anyone would care so I dont.

Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night will keep me from crappie fishing!

Bruce likes to fish in the crappie hatchery!!! That's where he learns All his crappie knowledge! :D :D
Anyone could catch fish like that, no skill nor knowledge needed for that.

I have fished with Bruce....He is one crappie catching son of a gun. Not only is a day on the water with Bruce entertaining but if you pay attention, you will learn something about crappie fishing. :D
