Wow!!! The wife, kids and I will be at the State Park for a week in March. Any hints on where to fish to get into a few like those?? Thanks, FishnFed
After being away from the water for a week we managed a few this morning using 1/16 jigheads and pumpkinseed colored jigs in 15 foot of water slight current and the fish were 2 rounds off the bottom. Took a while to find them after being off of them for a few days and the bite was ever so lite . the fish we found were just not feeding the way they should have been. The water was up some from the last time we fished.

Right around the corner from the state park at town creek bridge would be a good place to start.

Great catch Robert, I went back to Logan Martin again today (yesterday to HEHE) they are hitting good there also, By the way,I fished at the mouth of Blue Eye that me & you were talking about & got a few nice ones,Mark,,
Nice mess of fish
How is the water level there? I have a friend who lives mid lake and he said he caught some nice one down that way a week or so back. I look foward to going back over there I know a place or two if the water is right. Glad to hear you found some. Good luck next time and tight linesOriginally Posted by bentpole
