they are really hitting good up here! we are getting 50-100 crapies a day most in the 10-16in. range. fishing tree tops on deep shore lines with twister tails on 1/8 jigs.

its just outside ft wayne in leo indiana. the st joe river feeds it. its a great crapy channel cat n bass water. if you want to come fish it ill turn you onto the good spots. heading out now it looks like a great day to hitum.

yesterday the rain made the res muddy. it was slow in the mud so we went searching. we found clear water up river and they bit good! we kept 25 but caught many more. ill reply to your PM with more info.

yesterdays mess of crapy n bass. dont get the wrong idea about us. we are not fish hogs, most fish were released. i am a strong asvocate of catch n release, but hey mans gota eat eh. lol unfortunatly i have to work today but will try tomorow:D

Great pictures RS. Those are about the biggest crappie I've seen here in Indiana.
How is the spring and summer crappie fishing there?
How big is that reservoir and can we use our 17ft. deep V with 75 OB.
Any reasonable lodging close by.
