like my mir-o- lures as well our trout season should be getting heated up - the blues are hitting everything we throw right now
with my mind on crappie and crappie on my mind -
and if ya'll see Goober later tellem I said duh huh - he'll know what ya mean!!!!!!!!
Congrats on the catch. There are a few guys around here that are going every week and catching limits. They are long line trolling for them, just under 2mph. I saw one of their baits the other day and it looked almost like LSU colors. Purple body with a yellow or chartruese tail. Dont remember which.
You can't fish with a hung line!
Nice Specks!! I can't say i've ever trolled for Specks. But whatever works to bring them in, got to do it.

Nice fish. how do you cook them
Stinkies Daddy
We usually filet them and fry them. Next best thing to fried crappie filets. Some will argue that they are better.Originally Posted by stinkies daddy

Johnny, you won't get that argument from me! They are good eating but IMO, they don't compare to crappie! :DOriginally Posted by jlaughlin72

Nice fish! What area were you fishing? I used to fish at Cape Lookout years ago.
