    Thumbs down Asian invasion!!Arrrrghhhhhh

Went out the front door(faces due south) to check the mail an hour ago.
Front of house covered with those ladybug lookalikes, asian beetles.Guess these cool days then it hitting 70 and sunny brought them out of the ground.

Hate those things, they bite...grandson breaks out bad from them...first the carp, now this.

I remember the first year I lived here, moved in the winter.First warm spring day may other house was covered in boxelder bugs(why do they call them democrat bugs?)I freaked, was ready to call orkin till a neighbor clued me in.

Yeah they pop out with the harvest and their food disappearing. They haven't broken out down here yet. The corn areas get them real bad in the fall.

Those beetle were imported to eat the afids off the soybeans when our own lady bugs supply started to die off. It's just another import from Japan thats killing us or costing us.

My buddy tells me that he uses a roach spray called "Bengal Gold". It is a powder spray that kills them. He sprays it around doors and windows, where they are more likely to get in. He said they pick it up and die.

Cook, I went to South Dakota for opening day pheasant hunting Oct 20th and these things were going ballistic up there. The locals say they get bad after they harvest the soy beans. They look just like lady bugs. All I know is that I still have red bite marks on my arms and neck.
