    Default Finished laptop mount...looks good...pics

I finally got this complete. Had to wait on stuff. Will install next weekend. I really like th HP quick disconnect.

I will be mounting this on the port side of the driver console. I will now be able to move the laptop (tablet) to and from the bow and console. Takes a little figurin".

If this don't work out, then there is always the 1197. ha

Going to do any Live streaming from web cam too? Nice setup.I had my laptop on pontoon and I loved it.Its down right now but out for repairs now.Water and most laptops is rough on them.
Adding a Deluo Marine Navigation System turn your PC,laptop into real-time GPS chart plotter. FUGAWI Marine ENC lets you preplan trips and print maps from your home computer, up and download waypoints, routes and tracks from your handheld GPS, or navigate in real-time on your computer screen or PDA.

Also check out this fishing log program http://fishing.idealog.net/download.html Its free and looks great just found it today Good Luck!

Well, I am glad someone doesn't think I am nuts.

I use Oziexplorer whic is similar to Fugarwi(I like this name). Input from gps is bluetooth garmin GPS 10.

I also have a pcff80 wireless sonar which I am beta testing. It is one powerful sonar. Blow anything out there away. You have full control from ping to zing.

The Tablet PC is made by Motion Computing. It has sunlight viewable screen.

Motion computing folks are very supportive with this application of their tablet.

Yep. Laptop is a sonar (FISHFINDER) and a chartplotter combined.

I guess you could say I got my sponsors too.

My tablet is in a water proof casing.

Dont need anything from the Bird except si recordings. I can't get this yet. I can cut and paste snapshots now, which lets me make maps of the scanned area.

You will get to see all this when you get up this way.

It is all a work in progress.

    It is my hobby.

Tom If I can get this stinking back worked out I am ready to see it in person.
Also Tell me more on the PCCFF80? That sounds like a sonar and 7/8.
How well does it show crappie in the brush piles?
Also on the SI I can see it now. Tom will come up with his own. Tow behind model. That is 500 times better then what is out there now.
One question tom I remember you posting something one time .That you built your own Timer for the live well? I need to add one to my bait well. One that would work from 3 minutes to 1 hour on and off settings and 1 minute on between cycles. How hard would that be for a Dumb guy like me that can't do much more than wire stuff up?
Also I still have that old flasher unit here for you. Think I even found the transducer for it also.
    Pete
