Now thats a nice rack there, wish we had some like that down here in south Louisiana
A friend of mine came by this morning with this rack off a buck he took with his bow in Illinois last week. The antlers have 17 scorable points, 21 1/2" wide, scores in the mid 190's. Second largest ever taken on the property where he hunted, a 14 year old boy took a 209" buck on the same property two years ago during the shotgun season.

I was wondering if he was gonna get it mounted, and looking at the way the skull is cut, looks very similar to how the taxidermist cut mine when I had it mounted... All I can say is that he isn't getting this one mounted, he must have a bigger one on the wall already.Originally Posted by mudwitch

You are correct...the taxidermist cut the horns off like that. He is going to have it mounted.Originally Posted by jlaughlin72
He took this non-typical buck last year with a rifle that also scored in the mid 190's.
