No Ribit. I called Ed and told him that the site was down. He has several other web sites that I know the addy of on the same server and those weren't working either. He must have had a server crash. I was having withdrawels myself.

    Default Hey Ed!

Please disregard this message. I was having trouble with the site but it is OK now. You are one step ahead of me as usual. Thanks.

Nope, not a server crash, but a forced shutdown because the ISP received notification from a lawyer about "copyright infringements". The ISP shut me down. The Copyright infringements are associated with a site I happen to host. A computer gaming site, ultrarcade com.

The only notification the ISP gave me was a voice msg I did not receive till yesterday. In the mean time I was chasing down the problem myself and finally figured out that it was only my server that could not get out to the internet. Then the guy at the ISP who shut me down took the next day off, yesterday. So 150 phone calls later I straghten everything out, and here we are, back on "on the air".

And no FB, I know you're going to ask, it has nothing to do with porn! lol - I've stayed 100% away from porn on my sites and plan to keep it that way. Generally just fishing and car sites with some small business and B&B sites in the mix.

Sorry for the outage guys. I'm hoping and thinking that it can't happen again. At least for this particular reason.

I know about computer problems here. Been learning about FAT FAT32 and NTFS partitions (sp?) Did I spell that right? My eyes are glazed over right now from being up too long.

Good to see that Ed got the web site back up and running. I don't know what we would all do without Ed and his machines.

I was offline for about two days and it was awful. I missed the web terribly.
