Hang on I know there's help coming for you. There's a few guys on here that have solved the problem and there's even a couple of pics showing how. My feeble brain can't remember where they are right now.
I have a Minn kota power drive trolling motor and I am wanting to install a depth finder on the front of my boat, but I am having trouble trying to figure out how to install the transducer on the trolling motor. Anybody who has one can see what I am talking about because the the whole thing turns, shaft ,head and motor. And also the mount presents a problem also. The shaft slides through a hole on a pivot when you take it up or let it down. It is not made on a big hinge bracket like most trolling motors.
Any suggestions ?
Thanks

There is a photo somewhere on here. I have a powerdrive and love it. I used the diagram in the photo from this site to run my wiring.
Here is the thread http://www.crappie.com/gr8vb3/showth...ht=power+drive
I have mind set up this way and it works good. Just remember to leave enough wire so the motor can turn freely. 180 degree both ways.
