didnt get up to bucksaw or long shoal . put in at osage bluff and fished around indian island 16 keepers :D weighed 21 lbs. had one blue cat 3lb all on pole timber minnows. couldnt get jig bite to work. no fish off cedars. wife caught most of them as usual.

Standing in the Gap
18-20 Ft seemed to be and ideal depth - drop your line all the way to the bottom - we were using drop shot - reel up enough to get tension on the line and you better set the hook - no bite - could be they took it on the way down? Anyway, we didn't have any luck any deeper - also we seemed to do better on standing timber - no cedars

The first thing I think of when that is mentioned is Izzy. Just pops into my head every time. Still mis ya old buddy.That is a good area Hogles creek near there has given up its share of near two pound fish the last few years.
