Cane Pole, I haven't spoken or wrote French since I left high-school! I may have to find my old French book and practice though as one of my sons will be taking French later this year...
The "French Connection" in our manuals is due to, I believe, sales in Canada. I think that they require the dual languages for all products sold there. Of course this doubles our printing costs which increases our prices... now don't everyone get up in arms about this. We have tried separate manuals for US and Canadian units in the past and it did not meet with good results.
