Crappe usually spawn in early spring when the water, temp, and other conditions occur. I find in my area the 1st spawn is usually around the full moon. Fish in 2-6 ft of water around docks, brush or downed trees, etc. get you a zebco 33 combo thats easy to cast , small floats, bb shot. and #1 or # 2 gold aberdeen hook (or any thin-wire hook) hook a shiner thru the lips and get fishin' There is a lot of info here, all you have to do is ask or read the posts, there are also sites here for each state
