    Default Truman Walleye

Wrong type of fish but we chased the white bass tonight after work. Caught around 20. But right in the middle of the frenzy I hooked into my first walleye. Could not holler loud enough for the net. 19 1/2" seemed a lot bigger seeing it come to the boat. But not bad for my first. Going back to Bucksaw in the morning in search of some slab crappie. Lots of current tonight so that should help.

Just got back from Bucksaw. My buddy's boat starter shot craps after first stop this morning. Spent an hour working on that then went and got my boat. Ended up with 10 keepers. Only one over 12" and 1 three pound channel cat. Jigs tiped with minnows. 22 feet of water 6 to 8 feet down. A buddy from work was tipping with small shad he caught and was having same results. Lots of current on the points.
