hey slabtroller, has the crappie started out there yet?
I have been reading all the past posts regarding scents and would like to offer this for the mix.

We have tried most all of them around and had pretty good luck with many. This is the brand we settled on as working best on our fish out here. The crayfish scent is by far the best for crappie. We even mix it into the plastic we pour our grubs with.
Unlike most others though make sure to keep it off you boat and hands if possible. The stuff has a great "hang time" if you know what I mean.

They started in early december and we were just starting to come home with +100 each day when the rains started. The rains have not stopped and we are now over our normal yearly rainfall with more rain hitting us every 3 days. Great news for the future but right now it just plain stinks. We spent 10 hours today and meetered thousands of fish holding at 10 to 18 feet in 75' of water for a great bit ZERO. Couldnt even snag one while trolling through them.
Its going to be great when it gets going but only mother nature knows when that will be.
