I'm no help there, I have trouble catching fish with a stick of dynamite, but welcome from Louisville KY.
I am new to the forum and sure something like this has been posted already but I need help. I am fishing up here in Michigan and catching consistent numbers of crappie all summer long, all day long. Most of the fish range from 7-12 inches. The lake is very clear and they seem to be in 10-15 feet of water where the weeds have recently been killed from the heat. My question is how to find some of the bigger fish. All I currently use is flathead minnows and some small jigs, fishing just off the tops of the dead weeds. Thanks for the help.

Welcome aboard from Missouri. Sounds like you're doing it right. Just keep it up and if there are slabs in the lake, you'll find em.
