Thumbs up Coming back for a visit to West Branch, Berlin and Mogadore

    Hi,

This is shipahoy 41 from www.gofishohio.com now on this forum. I'll be coming back to visit Ohio next week. I hope to get some fishing in at West Branch, Berlin or Mogadore. Has anyone been doing any good?

The Crappie fisihing action is great down here in Alabama. I recommend Weiss Lake or Logan Martin Lake.

    Hey ship,
Just to let you know, gofishohio has been defunct for over three years now. Erich screwed up and tried to charge people to post their information on their fishing trips and most people said see ya!

I can't blame them. Sorry about that. You are now on the best website anyway. I used to live at the corner of Delia and Hawkins and was the principal at Crosby, right next to St. Vincent St Mary. I miss my friends in Akron, but not the snow.

    Take care. Thanks.

    Hey 41
The wife and I are going to make a night of it Saturday. Not sure but considering West branch or Magadore. While near Mogadore check out the new Cazzy jigs. They look real good and that is the only place you can get them.

    Tim,

We got back from Ohio last Fridiay. While there a friend of mine was going to Berlin so I went there instead of Mogadore. We did fairly decent but as babe Winkleman would say "They were dinks" when you compare them to the slab crappie down south. It was still good talking to old friends.

I found out www.gofishohio.com has disbanded and that most of them are now on www.ohiogamefishing.com now. I also learned (Exec) John Bodis passed away last year. Big Daddy (Carl) and (Lewzer) told me about it. He was a fishing buddy of mine.

Anyway, thanks again. Take care and root the Brown on to victories.

I never thought that you knew Exec or I would have mentioned it. I only met him acouple times at the outings. As for OGF it is mostly started with some of the better OGFérs But I spend most of my time hear. I just don't fit the click of OGF.

John Bodis was my fishing partner and a pretty good chess player too. It took all I had to beat him at both. I will miss his smiling face and positive "Can do" attitude.

    Did someone say chess???
My chess buddy moved to Florida in 1996 so our weekly games ended.
Can't find anyone to play with up here so now I just fish.

Sorry I am not in Akron anymore. I would have loved to beat up on you in chess.
