    Default LOZ Question

Have any of you who fish LOZ seen any clear creatures floating around that look like jellyfish. At first I thought it was a big wad of clear caulk or glue that someone threw into the lake so I removed a few from near our dock. More keep popping up so they must be a type of living creature. Just wondering what they are. Thanks!

JoyJoy i read about those in either the Miss. or Louisiana board. Its some kind of fungas and they said it gets so thick down there that it will cover a whole area. They had the name of it posted but i can remember what they called it.I believe it is some kind of fresh water jelly fish. And if i remember right you don't want to touch it with bare hands. You might inquire on thier boards becuase it sounds just like what they were talkin about.

    Default Yep

I've never seen them either. When I saw JoyJoy's post I thought it was a mess of frog eggs. The article in the Lake Sun Leader was the first I heard of them.

If anyone's around Parkview Towers this weekend, I'll be fishing the docks there on Wed., Fri. and Sat. mornings. Feel free to stop on by...
