    Default Up North Trip

Here are a few of the fish we caught while up in Wisconsin. The first one is of the cat's we caught on cranks couldn't believe the cat's were hitting the cranks. We also did good on the walleye on some days. We also did good on the cats jigging with nightcrawlers going for the eye's thats the second group of cat's with a few flat heads in the mix. Our biggest walleye was 24'' and our biggest cat was a 13 1/2# flat head on a jig and crawler. Now it's back to the grind of finding fish on the Rock and Stockton.

That Smallie looks like a grouper. Too bad they don't taste like Grouper.

We were fishing the Wolf River area around Fremont and Fox River going into Lake Winnebago and trolled Winnebago for the eye's. The big cat;s were all caught under the same bridge just out of the current and on 6-8# mono what a fight and fun. They were right in there with the eye's

Man If you had caught some crappie you would have had the culinary hat trick.

Flatties, Crappie and Walleye are the finest eating fish in the world.

    Thanks for the post.
