    Default Relic and artifact displays?

Anyone here collect relics and artiacts? If so how do you display them?
    Looking for ideas.

    Thanks!

The field work is going a bit slow since I have been doing alot of book research. In the books and on the maps I have found three new CSA camps, a fort, two new battlesites and the vacinity of a couple of communities that have been long gone since the late 1800's. I have a really good plat map from 1915 that doesn't even show these communities. It looks like they diappeared around 1889 or so since they don't show on any state maps after that date. Both of these communities were headquarters for very large CSA forces in the area. I haven't been to any of these sites to confirm them as of yet. Not sure when I will get to go but hope it's soon.

Hey Swamphunter. I agree that the shadow box is the way to go. I bet it is fun looking up this type of history. Keep us posted.

I have looked all over for shadow boxes and can't find them anywhere. Anyone got any suggestions on where I might find them?

Swamphunter, some of the best display cases I've seen have belonged to Metal Detector enthusiasts, and I've see those through websites devoted to Whites, Tesoro, Troy Shadow, Garrett, Minelab, and Bounty Hunter, among others. There are many sites that have plans to build display cases. A Google search will give you hours of material to look through. Best of luck.
    I have a jig with a face like this!
