Buffalo Bill lake is in the Pony Express Lake Conservation Area. I checked the MO Conservation Atlas. It's smaller than Pony Express Lake. By the way, the MO Conservation Atlas is online at the MO Conservation Dept website.
It's great for locating and getting info about lands and water managed by the Conservation Commission. Nothing on State Parks or Corps of Engineer projects, though.

http://mdc.mo.gov/ will take you to the Conservation Dept main page.
Go down the column on the left... The atlas is under "Additional Information"
