I have heard really good success with these but never have tried them. I dont know why I havent tried them. But it is on my list to try this year.
I love these little bodies, especially ice fishing. They are also great on a jig and spin.
In case you haven't seen em:

I tried them last year and liked them enough to give some out to some guys I work with. I don't know how they fared, but I always make sure that I've got a couple in my tackle bag.:D
Defensor Fortis
I have used them for 15 years, the inventor gave me some to try when i talked to him at the 95th st ramp in Chicago. I love the jig and hate the price. (1.25) Caught about 300 on em tho this week
I have used them and the Cubby Nail-Tail for years. Have caught most my crappie and gils with them, plus plenty of catfish and bass and the occasional drum or walleye etc. In my personal experience the Nail-Tail out fishes the Mini-Mite. The problem is finding the 1/32 or 1/16 round head jigs without the keeper spur and long ago I found the right jigs at Reeves Lures.
