Nice fish troop! Now go out and have fun getting that boat dirty!
Just bought a new boat and finally was able to get out and do a little jigging. I used red/chartruese tipped with a Power Wiggler. I caught most of the fish between 0900 - 1230. I mainly tried casting most of the morning but took the jig pole out about 0800. The only reason I left was because I got a hold of something that snapped my BnM 13 ft jigging pole in two - I think it was a huge catfish. Lesson learned: bring more than one jigging pole even if you don't intend to jig.
Will be out tomorrow at dawn. Hopefully I can limit out!!

Great bunch of Crappie and nice looking boat. Thanks for posting the pictures as they are better than a thousand words.
As for the broken pole , I try to always carry a spare one. I even ordered extra replacement front sections for my poles from B-n-M Poles. I have it made living just down the road from the lake. But don't want to stop fishing to replace one left at the house. :D

Went out again today and fished the points of the lake. Couldn't stay too long as the wind got a little rough, so we moved to the canals to try to catch some perch - didn't do that well today. The fish move from the local canals into the points of the lake from April - May. The deepest our lake gets is about 7 feet, but that's in the middle of it. We fish the canals in the spring and summer for perch and the points of the lake itself for sac-a-lait.
This is the point we fished today.
Jigging the sticks.
My brother with a slab he caught that almost broke another one of my jigging poles. I bought two more today.
One of the many "perch" canals.
