What in the world are you gonna do with Xylene? We haul it all the time in barges and it ain't good for ya!
I don't even know what it is, but I need a little if I can find it without too much trouble. Can I find it as something else? Another name?
Anyone here know anything about this stuff?

xylene is a cleaner...try goofoff - pretty much the same stuff , and can be found in most paint stores , home depot/lowes.
i git it at the paint stores they sell inthe quart or gallon cans it used as a paint thinner for metal paints or to clean pant spray guns
Wiki'd it...
"Chemical industries produce xylene from petroleum. It is one of the top 30 chemicals produced in the United States in terms of volume. Xylene is used as a solvent and in the printing, rubber, and leather industries. p-Xylene is used as a feedstock in the production of terephthalic acid, which is a monomer used in the production of polymers. It is also used as a cleaning agent for steel, a pesticide [1], a thinner for paint, and in paints and varnishes. It is found in small amounts in airplane fuel and gasoline."
I think I got one...
Skip i've seen at home Depot in the paint section. Bad stuff though, BAD.
