Hey captain- Dont count that date out I fished in june after memorial day up there and had one of the best trips of my life! The females just moved in on the banks and we caught fish all day long! could have kept 100s.

Well, they've been pouring the water out hard for a week, a total of about 4 feet drop so far. That won't help anything . . . and then this front will probably knock it off a bit too. I'll be up there turkey hunting, crappie fishing, and catfishing for the weekend. We'll see what happens.

The fish where on the banks over the weekend. Caught our limit both days. Saturday all males. Sunday a few females in the mix. Sunday I had my limit in 1 hour and all from 1 spot. Hard to fish the trees because most where under water. The lake was up 5 ft. Get there early because the lots where filling up fast. No later than 7:00 am. Be careful boating since most trees where under water and some debris floating. We used minners.
