My opinion only. If you fish rough water on a regular basis, a deep v would be better.
Looking at a 2016 Tracker 195txw. Any feedback such as how they handle the wind and rough water? Thanks for any info.

I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.
Boats are best viewed as a tool. Different ones for different purposes.
And it’s the reason we all need several. Lol
Hard to go wrong with a deep v when it comes to handling rough water and comfort. Nice for a big guy like me to sit at regular height instead of trying to get behind a console in a seat 6 inches off the deck. I can also troll or pull jigs right from the drivers seat - just spin it sideways.

I’m not sure on the 195 but I have a 175 fish all the lakes here in ms and it does great! It took some moving and adding weight to get it right for trolling but I really like it now! It’s no glass boat but I feel like it does good for a tin boat! The v of the tracker boat helps some to

Thanks for the replies. Went and looked at this rig up close. Funny how pics can make a boat look very good. Looked like it had been run wide open in a stump flat. It had a 150 Yamaha and took forever to plane out. Would run 40 mph. Motor had bad vibration. Definitely checking this one off my list.
Smart move. That boat should hurt your neck getting out of the hole with a 150 and run over or real close to 50 with just about any prop. I have an 18’ glass boat and a 150 and mine kisses 60 now and then. Gonna be for sale too but we a long ways apart. Good luck in your search. I just found one myself, took a lot of looking.

Yeah I thought the same thing. It was a dog, I’m telling ya. I’m going to look at a Ranger 195vs again today and drive it. It has a 200 Yamaha 3.1L on it. I think we should be able to spider rig out of ok. Might be a lil tight but I’m tired of looking at them. Need to get back on water.
