    Default Bobby garland swimR!!!

I think I have a little problem with Bobby garland swimR. It is great catching fish but oftentimes I lost the paddle tail part too fast to either small crappies or bluegill. After the paddle tail is gone, it isn’t as effective as regular baby shad. This is weird since they look the same without paddle tail.

I use the swimr almost exclusively, I like the longer profile vs the baby shad. I lose a lot of tails too, its mostly small bluegills biting on and ripping them off when you set the hook. I still catch way more on the swimr than the baby shad, so its worth it to me to go through more baits.

Both of those baits work exceptionally well but I go thru them so quickly that it irritates me. I go thru six to eight every trip. Guess it’s worth it tho. They work.

Yes , the gills are hungry!
I’ve been using the Bonehead Brand
They are much tougher than BG mush
    and they catch fish.
I’ve started hand tying a few jigs too.

those little froggy baits lose them little froggy feet to gills as fast as you can pitch them .
its a common problem with softer plastics for sure .
