    Default Stripers and Perch

Danny Quickdraw and myself wen,t fishing today on Lake Norman. It was a little cold, and we had a pretty good chop on the water.Things did,nt look all that good, but we road around and looked at the birds and they were just kind of cooling it.We stoped where some birds were sitting on the water, and turned the boat sideways and started a drift.drifted about half a block, and i sware them birds got up and started diving right below us. Man,we ended up with our limit of stripers and about 20 nice perch.Talk about a horse shoe you know where. There is a God. :D

that happened to us on wateree back in mid nov. we had a school come up right under us. in about 45 mins, three of us had 24 on, and landed 14 of em.. that kind of fishing is extremely addictive and keeps you going back hoping for a repeat.....

ive come upon huge schools of spanish down at the coast. a couple of em about an acre or 2 wide. an amazing site watching all them spanish sky out of the water than you see a 30 pound king sky after em spanish.

one of the last trip i went on last year, we must of seen about 40 kings all various size jump out of the water after some pogies. talk about a big fish that can jump out of the water and land without making a splash.

When you see a spanish cutting the water about 100 mph being chased by a large blue in hot pursuit and behind the blue is a big ole drum chasing him - Mother Nature's law of the survival of the fittest in action
