    Default Spider rigging question

Plan to use 10' and 12' rods on a 4 holder T-bar at the front of my boat.
Do you put the longer rods on the outside or the inside?

    Thanks

Usually the inside, but it really doesn't matter. The important thing in spider riggin' is to go slow. You hang up one, and you'll likely hang up a couple more. Boat control, speed control are very important. Often times, you'll see people drag a chain or a chute behind them to help with speed control. Load that rod holder up though! When you start catchin' fish, there is nothing like it. Get multiple poles hittin' at once, etc. Gives me the chills (besides this dang weather) just thinking about it.

Longer rods to the inside so you can swing longer rods past the shorter ones

I use a 12ft. in center, stays away from troll-motor and will get to a pile before the others, then 2- 10ft because thats what I bought first, then a 12ft or a 14ft on outside, not a lot of differance on catch rate But seems if ya catch on one rod the next bite will be on the same rod? Could be a new minnow?
    Good Luck
